London, 15th July 2026 — The Commonwealth Students’ Association has today announced the appointment of a new cohort of Campus Ambassadors, representing institutions across 33 Commonwealth countries, following a rigorous, multi-week selection process under the CSA Campus Ambassador Programme 2026/2027.
The appointments, ratified by the CSA Executive Committee, follow an open call that drew over a thousand applications from students across the Commonwealth. Each application was carefully reviewed for demonstrated experience in grassroots mobilisation, a genuine passion for student advocacy, and a track record of student leadership; with one Campus Ambassador selected to represent each participating institution.
The Commonwealth Students’ Association (CSA) has launched a call for applications to its Secretariat Internship Programme, offering placements for Digital Content Creators and Video Editors. The programme, which runs for one year, is open to passionate creatives from across the 56 Commonwealth member nations who are eager to advance student advocacy through compelling digital storytelling.
The summit emerged as a significant platform for dialogue, advocacy, and action, bringing together more than 650 youth leaders, policymakers, mental health professionals, advocates, and survivors from across different sectors of society. Participants engaged in impactful conversations centered on mental health awareness, cyber safety, youth leadership, and survivor empowerment — issues that continue to shape the wellbeing and future of young people globally.
We are proud to announce that the Commonwealth Students’ Association has partnered with the Pax Youth Initiative, Pakistan to deliver the Peace Scrolls Fellowship, a six-week virtual programme designed to equip young leaders with the skills and knowledge to navigate today’s complex digital information landscape.
We are profoundly troubled that such attacks, once associated predominantly with the far north of Nigeria, are now penetrating south-western states. It signals a widening of the theatre of terror that demands immediate and decisive attention from the Nigerian state and the broader international community.
