CSA Opens Applications for Campus Ambassadors Across the Commonwealth

call for (1)

The Commonwealth Students’ Association is calling on passionate, visionary, and action-oriented students from tertiary institutions across Commonwealth countries to apply for the prestigious CSA Campus Ambassador Role — a unique opportunity to represent the voice of students, champion advocacy, and drive meaningful change within campus communities.

Designed to strengthen student engagement and grassroots mobilisation across the Commonwealth, the programme seeks to recruit committed undergraduate and postgraduate students who are eager to become catalysts for leadership, collaboration, and impact within their institutions.

As a CSA Campus Ambassador, selected students will serve as the official bridge between the Commonwealth Students’ Association and their campus communities. Ambassadors will play a critical role in promoting CSA initiatives, mobilising students for programmes and campaigns, supporting advocacy conversations, and advancing institutional engagement and research activities.

The programme presents an exceptional platform for students who are passionate about leadership, student development, and community engagement to contribute to a wider international network dedicated to empowering young people across the Commonwealth.

Who Can Apply?

CSA welcomes applications from students who:

  • Are currently enrolled in a recognised tertiary institution within a Commonwealth country;
  • Are at least 18 years old;
  • Are in good academic standing;
  • Can commit a minimum of five (5) hours weekly to CSA activities;
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for grassroots mobilisation and advocacy;
  • Have an interest in leadership and student engagement.

While prior experience in student leadership is considered an advantage, it is not mandatory, making the programme accessible to emerging leaders with the passion and dedication to make an impact.

Opportunities Beyond the Role

Beyond representing the CSA on campus, ambassadors will gain access to valuable opportunities in:

  • Leadership development;
  • Capacity building and mentorship;
  • International networking across Commonwealth institutions;
  • Participation in CSA programmes and initiatives;
  • Recognition through Certificates of Service and recommendation letters for outstanding performance.

The appointment runs for an initial one-year term, with opportunities for renewal based on performance and commitment.

The CSA emphasises that this role is voluntary and non-remunerated, but highly rewarding for students seeking to build influence, expand their networks, and contribute meaningfully to student advocacy across borders.

Application Deadline

Interested students are encouraged to submit their applications before 11:59 PM GMT on:

15 June 2026
