Education looks different for every learner.
A classroom. A screen. A shared book. A long walk to school.
But across the Commonwealth, education shapes how young people see themselves, and what they believe is possible.
On this International Day of Education 2026, under the theme, “The Power of Youth in Co-Creating Education,” the Commonwealth Students’ Association affirms a simple truth: education works best when young people are not just consulted, but trusted as partners.
Students understand the pressures, the gaps, and the realities of learning today. They also carry the ideas, energy, and hope needed to shape education that is relevant, inclusive, and fit for real life.
Watch our short video as we celebrate youth voices and call for education built with students, across the Commonwealth.
