The Commonwealth Students Association (CSA), in collaboration with Voices Against Violence Africa (VAV Africa), is pleased to invite you to The Educate to Empower Webinar—an international community engagement held in celebration of International Women’s Day 2026.
Under the theme, “Advancing Rights, Justice, and Action for All Women & Girls through Education and Self-Leadership,” the event will explore how education and self-leadership work together to create lasting change. Education remains foundational to empowerment, opening pathways to opportunity and exposure. Yet true empowerment goes beyond access—it requires awareness, courage, and the confidence to take ownership of one’s future.
Across the world, many women and girls continue to face barriers that limit access to education, leadership opportunities, and the protection of their rights.
This webinar provides a platform for engaging in self-leadership and policy reform discussions that inspire responsibility and collective action toward advancing rights, justice, and sustainable progress for women and girls.
Together, we can move beyond symbolic celebrations and rhetoric toward a future where empowerment is sustained through education, intentional investment in growth, expanded opportunities, and shared commitment to inclusive progress
